It’s a compass not a magic wand.
It gives you a direction when you have lost your way.
It doesn’t make all your problems magically disappear.
It requires hard work, choices, sacrifices and decisions.
It doesn’t happen in the blink of an eye, and it’s not the lowest hanging fruit. It doesn’t come easy and it certainly doesn’t always end the way that you think it will. (By the way, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing either)
Perspective does bring focus.
On the next step. And the one after that. And the one after that.
Over time, you have a path. You’ve walked an intentional walk. A journey has taken place.
And that makes the destination you arrive at carry a great sense of satisfaction, purpose and pride.
If it were as easy as waving a magic wand, I would open a magic wand factory and get rich on you and everyone around you.
But you will notice that there aren’t any magic wand factories.
There is a reason for that.
The purpose you were meant to fulfill is a reality, not a fantasy.
A $7.50 movie ticket and 2 hours is all you need to see a happily ever after FairyTale.
Whatever “the thing” is that you are called to do, to be , to change the world with…
It won’t be solved in 2 hours and it won’t cost you $7.50.
Commit to getting perspective.
It will bring focus.
And no matter how long it takes and how much it costs… (Time, Energy, Money, Resources)
If you were called to it, stay with it.
Don’t give up because of frustration.
Press into perspective.
